<\/p>\nThe School of Public Finance, College of Economics, Law and Government UEH, spearheaded an in-depth tax consultation activity for several small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City.<\/p>\n
On June 11, 2023, the School of Public Finance, College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG) UEH, organized an In-depth Tax Consultation Session for a number of SMEs based in Ho Chi Minh City. This program is a concrete effort to realize UEH’s strategy towards its mission of serving society for a sustainably developing community.<\/p>\n
In early June 2023, UEH was officially recognized as leading 9 universities in Vietnam, proudly ranking in the Top 301-400 leading universities worldwide contributing to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals according to the THE Impact Rankings 2023. This result strongly demonstrates UEH’s commitment to its Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University strategy, leveraging the foundation of knowledge to address critical social challenges and create positive impacts through academic activities. Notably, for the 17th goal related to partnerships, UEH ranked in the Top 201-300.<\/p>\n
In the spirit of dedication and service, the School of Public Finance, College of Economics, Law and Government UEH, organized the In-depth Tax Consultation Session for several SMEs based in Ho Chi Minh City. The consultation session was a collaboration between the School’s highly specialized tax lecturers, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Consultants and Agents Association \u2013 a partner with a cooperation agreement with CELG’s School of Public Finance, experts from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, and experts from international audit firms in Ho Chi Minh City \u2013 alumni of the School of Public Finance.<\/p>\n

Overview of the program<\/em><\/p>\n Specifically, representing the College of Economics, Law and Government UEH, the School of Public Finance, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Gia Luat – Dean; Dr. Nguyen Kim Quyen – Vice Dean; Ms. Dang Thi Bach Van – Head of Administration\u00a0 Office, and the faculty members of the School of Public Finance.<\/p>\n Participating as consulting experts were Dr. Le Quang Cuong – Head of the Tax Department, Director of the Business Taxation Program \u2013 Head of the Consulting Panel; Dr. Tran Trung Kien – Director of the Tax Management Program; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tinh – Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Consultants and Agents Association; Mr. Nguyen Vu Hoang – Senior Manager – Ernst & Young Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Ha Ngoc Thien 1 <\/sup><\/span> – Expert of the Tax Inspection and Examination Department – Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department; Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thao Vy – Expert of the Corporate Income Tax Department – PricewaterhouseCoopers Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Tran Minh Huy – Expert of the Transfer Pricing Department – PricewaterhouseCoopers Vietnam Co., Ltd. Approximately 50 businesses attended the program.
