This collaboration aims to enhance the quality of training for the School of Public Finance’s specializations in Taxation in Business, Tax Management, and Public Finance, thereby enabling students to gain practical knowledge and access diverse career opportunities.

The signing ceremony was attended by distinguished representatives from CELG-UEH, including: Dr. Pham Khanh Nam – Vice Rector of CELG; Assoc. MISA Company specializes in providing software solutions for government agencies, businesses, and individual household businesses, including: state financial management platforms, education platforms, finance-accounting, marketing-sales, human resource management, and more. Driven by a desire to share knowledge with the community, MISA has, over the years, established training partnerships with over 600 universities, colleges, vocational schools, and training centers. Annually, tens of thousands of students receive free training in professional skills and practical application of MISA software. In 2021, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and MISA Joint Stock Company had already signed a 5-year cooperation agreement. Building on the spirit of that agreement and the long-standing traditional relationship with the School of Public Finance, the MOA was formally signed on May 24, 2022, to implement specific cooperation contents for the year 2022.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Pham Khanh Nam – Vice Rector of CELG – stated: “Collaboration is the synergy between two entities to create greater added value than individual development; this added value not only benefits each participating party but also contributes to society. The conditions for collaboration require respect, trust, and this foundation has been built through a long process of working together. Furthermore, what is truly wonderful is that both sides share common values. MISA Joint Stock Company’s core values are ‘Devotion – Creativity – Serving Society.’ I am surprised that a company operating in a market segment like MISA places so much emphasis on ‘serving society’ – this demonstrates that MISA Company and the values and missions that the University of Economics and the College of Economics, Law and Government are pursuing are in strong alignment and share a common vision, collaboratively sharing values for the community. This is a truly wonderful foundation for long-term cooperation, not just for today but for the future as well.”

The specific contents of the cooperation agreement signed between MISA Joint Stock Company and the School of Public Finance for 2022 primarily focus on student graduation internships and MISA’s recruitment efforts. Additionally, many other potential future activities were discussed, such as scientific seminars for knowledge sharing and community activities contributing to society. On behalf of the Board of Rectors of the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government, Dr. Pham Khanh Nam expressed sincere thanks to Mr. Le Huu Nguyen and the specialists from MISA Joint Stock Company for attending the MOA signing ceremony with the School of Public Finance.

Within the framework of the program, Dr. Pham Khanh Nam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Gia Luat, and Mr. Le Huu Nguyen engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation activities for students, including: Internship/Enterprise Semester Programs; Company Visits; Expert Sharing Sessions and Skills Training. Simultaneously, other activities were proposed, such as: joint curriculum development and evaluation; connecting for research and project implementation; talent acquisition networking; and contributing to the Fund – Joining UEH in “Connecting Communities – Spreading Knowledge – Acting Sustainably.”

Based on the contents of this cooperation, the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG) will continue to implement its training programs with MISA Company in the near future. It is anticipated that this cooperative relationship will bring numerous practical benefits to both parties in the future and contribute even more to the socio-economic development of the country.
