UEH Public Finance Program Granted FIBAA Accreditation (Europe)

In 2025, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continued to affirm its pioneering position in quality assurance and educational accreditation, with 11 academic programs officially awarded the international FIBAA (Europe) accreditation, increasing the total number of FIBAA-accredited programs at UEH to 30 programs. Contributing to this collective achievement, the Public Finance Program implemented by the Faculty of Public Finance was officially recognized by FIBAA, reflecting the Faculty’s systematic investment, continuous improvement efforts, and development orientation aligned with international standards.

According to the evaluation results of FIBAA’s international experts, the Public Finance Program fully meets the rigorous standards regarding educational objectives, learning outcomes, program structure, faculty qualifications, teaching and assessment methods, practical relevance, and mechanisms for continuous quality assurance. The program was granted full accreditation without any conditions.

During the external evaluation process, FIBAA expert panels conducted site visits and in-depth consultations with key stakeholders, including institutional leaders, program management, faculty members, current students, alumni, and employer representatives. The evaluation focused on identifying the program’s strengths, its achievement of intended learning outcomes, and its capacity to meet labor market demands in the fields of public finance and public sector management in an increasingly internationalized context.

The FIBAA accreditation of the Public Finance Program represents a significant milestone in the Faculty of Public Finance’s strategy to enhance educational quality and internationalization, while also contributing to the dissemination of UEH’s sustainable education values. This achievement provides a solid foundation for the Faculty to further develop modern academic programs and to train high-quality human resources capable of meeting the requirements of public sector reform and digital transformation in the coming period.
