From March 19th to March 26th, 2024, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony for 4,934 new bachelor’s degree holders, marking the first year students from Vinh Long Branch graduated. Having gone through a process of diligent study, enhancing professional skills, mastering technology and global thinking, the new UEH graduates will officially join the labor market, ready to contribute to society and the economy.
The 2024 University Graduation Ceremony was an opportunity for UEH to recognize the efforts and achievements of students in all aspects of academic learning, scientific research, and extracurricular activities throughout their time at the University. This also marks a milestone in their growth: the end of their undergraduate studies to embark on their future career paths.
The UEH Graduation Ceremony 2024 was honored by the presence of: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong – Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – President of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – Vice President; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao – Vice President; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet – Chairwoman of the Strategic and Policy Advisory Council; the Board of Directors of UEH’s member colleges; Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors; Heads and Deputy Heads of units under UEH and its member colleges. Also in attendance were parents, relatives, and friends of the new graduates.
Congratulating the new graduates, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – President of the University – shared: “With nearly 50 years of establishment and development, it can be affirmed that UEH has been and is excellently and comprehensively fulfilling its mission of training high-quality human resources, serving and contributing to the country’s economic development. UEH has made many strides and impressive, comprehensive transformations in all aspects of its operations: implementing university autonomy with many positive results; innovating and developing advanced training programs in line with international integration trends; increasing resources to support the development of scientific research, publishing scientific articles in prestigious international journals, contributing to enhancing UEH’s academic reputation; developing modern facilities; and officially becoming a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, one of the 7 universities in Vietnam. All the strong efforts mentioned above by the university aim to best equip students to confidently enter the highly competitive labor market, quickly adapt to the domestic and regional markets. Therefore, graduating from a university with a long tradition, a highly reputable institution in the region and the world for high-quality training in economics, management, business, law, technology, and design, UEH’s new graduates have the right to be proud of the journey they have been through and can be completely confident in their achievements and the knowledge they have acquired to be ready to conquer the wide-open career path.”
The School of Public Finance with 115 new graduates, the school congratulates the students and their families who have placed their trust in the school of Public Finance in general and UEH University in particular.
